In the crypto world, protecting your account is highly recommended to keep hackers away from stealing your funds. To do this, the account user must set up a 2FA or 2-Factor Authentication. It is an extra level of protection having one part as your username and password, and the other a piece of information like something the account owner knows, have or is, which includes OTPs send to your mobile phone, PINs, answers to “security questions,” or a biometric pattern of a fingerprint.
On your Bithumb account, go to the “OTP Authentication” tab on the left side of the main page. Follow the instructions provided and click on “Next.”
To start depositing funds, you must first verify your Bithumb account.
Select the “Authentication” tab at the left side of the page. There are certain levels in which you can access your account better. Upon signing up, you are automatically at LEVEL 1. To get to the next level, you are required to verify your ID with your mobile phone, I-PIN ID confirmation or submit an ID (passport). Level 3 requires a Written Consent, and Level 4 needs the verification of your residence.
You can also check out the Deposit Limit and Withdrawal Limit on each currency at this page.
From the homepage, select the “Wallet” tab at the top and choose “Deposit.”
Or click on “Deposit/Charge” at the upper right side of the page.
Click on “Exchange,” the first tab at the top bar beside Bithumb Cash. Next, select the currency you wish to trade.
Let’s say you want to buy Bitcoin. Click on it, and you get directed to the trading page. Enter the amount you desire to trade, and then hit “Buy.” Remember, always to check your order before proceeding.
You can check your transaction history at the bottom of the page at the “History” Section or by clicking on the “Pending Order” and “Completed Orders” buttons at the bottom of the vertical tab on the right side.
