To withdraw funds from Bitstamp, one must verify his/her account first. After such, you will be able to transact via Ethereum or Fiat money. The transaction time at Bitstamp does not take too long, and the process is also user-friendly.
Here, you will find steps that will guide you on how to make a withdrawal on Bitstamp.
Access the log-in page of Bitstamp first. Provide your registered information (User ID & Password), then hit Login.
For two-factor authentication, a token or 6-digit code is necessary to complete your log-in. Retrieve this from your authenticator app and click Continue.
Go to the ‘Withdrawal’ page as directed by the arrow on the image below.
From the selection on the left panel, select the cryptocurrency that you’d like to withdraw. On the next screen, provide the withdrawal or receiving address as well as the amount. Click the ‘Withdraw’ button to proceed. Ethereum withdrawals are free of charge but at the same time irreversible, so be sure to provide the correct information.
For Fiat money withdrawal, we will explain the steps through the EU Bank (SEPA) method as an example. To start, select this option from the left panel.
The SEPA form pops up which is an instrument for transferring funds to any bank account within the EU which supports the SEPA standard. Accurately provide all required information and hit Withdraw.
Go back to the Withdraw section to check the status of your withdrawal. Here, you will see that it says ‘Email’ confirmation needed.
Access your email inbox and click on the link that is in the email that you receive from Bitstamp.
The status will now change to ‘Waiting’ to be processed.
Another email will arrive in your inbox confirming your withdrawal.
As a result, the status will now show as ‘Finished’ on the Withdraw page. It usually takes 1-3 business days before you receive the money.
If you wish to check the withdrawal that you’ve just made, you can always go to your Account> Transactions> Withdrawal as the type.
Placing funds into your Bittrex account is possible by depositing cryptocurrencies like Ethereum and Fiat money. After making sure that your Bittrex account is safe to use and is fully verified, you can proceed with performing deposit transactions.
Here, you will find steps that you can follow in funding your Bittrex account.
Click this to access the platform.
Once the site is up, log-in with your registered account.
Once you’re logged in, click on “Wallet” which routes you to the “Account Balances” page.
To deposit Ethereum on Bittrex, select your Ethereum from the list of available cryptocurrencies. Initially, the page seems empty. You may want to click on “Show zero balance” to view the list or directly type in Ethereum. So, in this example, we will deposit BTC.
After typing in BTC, the list filters and displays BTC only. There are two icons beside the Ethereum, and for deposit, select the green icon.
A new box pops-up. Click “New Address” to generate your address. Please make sure to read the Ethereum deposit instructions if they are available. Some coins require a minimum amount to be sent before they are credited, and some ask for a message/payment/tag/memo. Therefore, you must send Ethereum to the address provided and attach the needed notes to the deposit for Bittrex to route it to your account.
Also, make sure that you only send the same type of coins to the address. Meaning, if you generated a Ethereum address you deposit Ethereum to it and not some other coin. If instructions are not followed, you will risk losing your funds permanently.
For Fiat money deposit, select your currency from the list. Click on “Show zero balance” to view the entire list or directly type in the currency of your choice. So, in this example, we will deposit USD.
After typing in USD, the list filters and displays USD only. There are two icons beside the currency, and for deposit, select the green icon.
Important reminders: Bittrex now supports eligible personal and corporate accounts for USD deposits. International customers and those operating in the States of California, New York, Montana, and Washington are eligible as long as the identity verification process is completed. It is a requirement to request your account(s) be added to the USD markets. If you already have an existing account, you can process your request in a few minutes, and it gets approved in just a few days.
Click here to view the requirements needed.
After the deposit process, you can check your transactions under “Pending Deposits” and “Deposit History” when you scroll down the page.
