Here are some practical steps on how to purchase your Ethereum on your Coinbene account:
Visit https://www.coinbene.com/ and click the “Sign up” button at the top of the page to register.
Enter the email address and password (6-20 characters with a combination of letters and numbers) you want to register and then click “Sign up.”
Go to your email and open the message from Coinbene. Click the link contained in the email to confirm your account.
By clicking on the link, you will then get redirected back to the Coinbene website. Log into your account using the email and password you registered.
Two-Factor Authentication or commonly known as 2FA is another level of securing your account, which is a must in the crypto world.
This way of protection contains two parts which are your email and password (you use when signing in) and a code. This code can be obtained by a scanning a QR code from Coinbene through the Google Authenticator app.
To enable one on your Coinbene account, go to “Settings,” and then “Account Settings,” and to the “Mobile Device” section. Click on the “Set” button on the right of “Google Auth not set.”
By doing this, an email will be sent to you to complete the verification in 24 hours. If you can’t locate it, please check your Spam folder.
On your email, click on the “Set Google Auth” link.
After clicking the link, you will be pointed back to the Settings page on Coinbene.
Next, grab your smartphone and download the Google Authenticator app. Once done, open the app and scan the QR code provided by Coinbene and retrieve the 6-digit code on the app. Now, take note of this code and don’t lose it for you will need it in your future transactions.
After that, enter the 6-digit code on the “Verify Code” box and click “OK.”
A PIN is needed when you do transactions such as withdrawals, trading, etc. To set a PIN, go to “Settings” and then to “Account Settings,” and locate “PIN, ” and click on “Set.”
Enter the 6-digit code from the Google Authenticator app in the “Verify” box and then enter the PIN you want to set in the “PIN” box. Click “Okay” to proceed.
To deposit Ethereum to your Coinbene account, click on the “Deposit” button under “Assets” found on the left side of the page.
Next, select the currency you want to trade in, and click “Deposit Address.”
Copy the address generated. Make sure it’s all correct by checking the first and last two characters.
From the homepage, go to “Exchange.”
Choose what cryptocurrency you wanted to trade with from the pairs listed on the left side of the page.
Scroll down and locate the form to buy Ethereum at the center of the page.
Enter the amount and quantity of your preferred Ethereum, then hit “Buy.”
